Juventus defender Alex Sandro is set to automatically renew with the club after meeting the minimum number of appearances to extend his contract. The Brazilian international has a contract with the Old Lady until this summer, but multiple reports from the Italian media claim he has now triggered an extension that will keep him in Turin until 2024.
Goal.com Italia’s Romeo Agresti confirms the news Alex Sandro will remain at the club until June 2024 after achieving certain performance related objectives.
Agresti also confirms that Juventus were prepared to extend the players contract for another season, regardless of whether or not the automatic extension was triggered.
Sandro has made 36 appearances with the Old Lady this season, providing two assists in all competitions.
