Al-Ahli would offer €150m to Paul Pogba

Start

Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli are reportedly prepared to offer Paul Pogba almost €150 million to sign a three-year contract. The Frenchman was pictured in Jeddah over the weekend, but reports suggested the visit was purely for personal reasons, despite speculation that he could be the latest player to make the move to the Middle East.

La Gazzetta dello Sport now claim that Al-Ahli, who had made a €100 million offer to Pogba last week, are now prepared to up their bid.

The new offer is reportedly for €150 million, spread out over three years, despite reports from French newspaper L’Equipe that Pogba wants to remain with Juventus.

The 30-year-old spent almost the entirety of the 2022-23 campaign on the sidelines through injury and is reportedly keen to pay back the Bianconeri for sticking by him.

For their part, Juve would apparently be prepared to sell the midfielder in an effort to recoup the money they have already spent on his salary for one season.
