AC Milan are gearing up for an offensive move but faces the challenge of Bayern Munich, who, despite transferring Zirkzee for €8.5 million, retained a buy-back clause valued at €40 million. Apart from the Germans, Bologna value Zirkzee at around €50-60 million, figures that Milan might find challenging to meet. The Rossoneri, however, have a strategic card to play – Alexis Saelemaekers, currently on loan to Bologna. Additionally, Milan are expected to receive €25-30 million from Atalanta for the transfer of De Ketelaere.
Milan’s plan revolves around including the Belgian winger and the funds generated from CDK’s transfer to Atalanta to facilitate the move for Zirkzee. However, the competition for the Dutch striker is fierce, adding an extra layer of complexity to Milan’s pursuit.
