Igor Tudor says he will speak with Marseille management next week amidst rumours linking him to the Juventus job. The Croatian international is a former Juve player, having spent close to 12 years with the Bianconeri, including a number of years under coach Marcelo Lippi.
SportItalia reported yesterday that the 45-year-old was on the verge of leaving the Ligue 1 side, despite an impressive season which saw Les Phocéens qualify for the Champions League and push PSG for the title.
Reports from Italian media have linked Tudor with the Juventus job, claiming he is the favourite to succeed coach Max Allegri, whose future in Turin looks in serious doubt.
Speaking in a press conference, Tudor clarified that he has yet to speak with the club regarding his future, insisting he still has good relations there:
“I think we’re having a chat with the Marseille leadership next week.
“I have a good relationship with them, I think I have never had this type of relationship and sharing before.
“I have the utmost support for everything, they believe in what I’m doing. They are all high-level executives, but we will see next week”.
