Juve’s CFO Francesco Calvo d confirmed that Dusan Vlahovic is not on the market and that Max Allegri will be the coach next season. The Bianconeri director was speaking ahead of Juve’s match against Empoli and shortly after it was confirmed that the club would be handed a 10-point penalty. Speaking with DAZN, Calvo confirmed that the club may consider another appeal and clarified the futures of both Allegri and Vlahovic:
“The appeal? It is a possibility but we must first read the motivations in the coming days. First impressions are negative, we are not satisfied with the penalty. The fact that it came in the pre-match, we expected it, but to comment now is too early. We will come out with a statement soon.”
“More than a balance sheet we do a continuous analysis on the progress of the season, we do it to improve, which is our goal: to fight for victory. All the reasoning with the coach to improve for next season is to win.”
“Vlahovic? Market rumors are uncontrollable, but Dusan absolutely is not for sale: in addition to being on the field every week we see him train every day and we are satisfied with the effort he puts in. Always in life you can do better, but we are satisfied, with him as with the other guys.”
“This has been a tough, complicated, unpredictable season, in which great credit for having been in the fight until the end in the Europa League and the league belongs to the coach and the boys, who have shown that they are great men in keeping the focus high and fighting against everything and everyone.”
