Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has confirmed that Simone Inzaghi will be coaching the club next season. There were doubts over Inzaghi’s future in Milan after some poor performances in the league this season, but the former Lazio coach has guided the Nerazzurri to the Supercoppa Italiana, with two more cup finals on the horizon. Speaking on Rai Italia during ‘Casa Italia’, Marotta seemingly confirmed Inzaghi will still be on the Inter bench next season:
“This year we have never thought, not even for a second, of replacing Inzaghi. He has managed to strengthen his position thanks also to the team’s performance, which is the result of his technical guidance. His confirmation, expressed as a percentage, is 100 percent. He is and will be our coach next year as well.”
