Manchester United have once against set their sights on signing Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer. The Frenchman is out of contract with the Bianconeri next month, and talks over a new contract are yet to begin in earnest, given Juve’s off-pitch issues.
The 28-year-old was close to agreeing a move to United last summer, but his reported wage demands caused a breakdown in talks and led to him staying with the Old Lady, ultimately having the best season of his career to date.
RMC Sport report that The Red Devils will once again attempt to sign Rabiot this summer when he’s a free agent, however the player is yet to make a decision on his future.
The French news outlet claim that Juve are still looking to renew Rabiot’s contract, while the player wants to understand what kind of project the Bianconeri will have next season, including whether they’ll feature in the Champions League.
Should United once again fail to reach an agreement, they will turn their attention to Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Manu Koné, who is also on their list of potential reinforcements.
