Multiple sources report that Udinese are closing in on the signing of FC Cincinnati striker Brenner. The Zebrette are on the lookout for a versatile centre-forward as they look to replace Beto, who looks almost certain to depart Udinese this summer after attracting the attention of a number of European clubs.
Fabrizio Romano, Sky Sport Italia and a number of other Italian outlets report that Udinese have presented a €10m offer to the MLS club for Brenner and talks are ongoing over a transfer, with a deal expected to be completed in the summer.
Brenner is a product of the Sao Paulo youth system, and has also previously played for Fluminense before making the move to Cincinnati for €12m in 2021.
Since arriving in MLS, the 23-year-old has scored 27 goals and provided seven assists in 72 competitive games for FC Cincinnati.
