Start

Roma coach Jose Mourinho is reportedly set to remain with the Giallorossi, despite links with PSG and various Premier League clubs. The Portuguese tactician signed a contract with the capital club until 2024, but has been linked with a host of jobs since his first successful season with Roma.

Il Corriere dello Sport report that the Special One has made up his mind and will remain with Roma, despite having numerous offers from abroad, including international teams.

The Rome-based newspaper report that Mourinho’s decision came just before the international break, when he travelled to London to spend time with his family and reflect on his own future.

Il Corriere also cite the strong relationship between Mourinho and Roma’s owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin, which they believe will further strengthen their collaboration on the long-term Roma project will began in 2021.

The Portuguese coach led Roma to the Conference League in 2021, their first silverware in 14 years.
