Fiorentina midfielder Rolando Mandragora has been ever present in the Viola’s midfield of late, with the club seeing an upturn in their recent form. Head coach Vincenzo Italiano has overseen victories in his last seven consecutive matches, picking up wins in Serie A, as well as progressing in the Europa Conference League. Fiorentina also reached the semi-finals of Coppa Italia after defeating Torino in the quarter-finals back in February. Mandragora, who was speaking at the official Viola store, via Sport Italia, spoke about his side’s recent good form, their upcoming tie with Lech Poznan in Europe and their semi-final matchup with Cremonese in Coppa Italia.
“We are experiencing a positive moment, we are getting results and they are coming. It is the most important thing because we were looking for continuity and it has arrived. Now we have a break to recharge our batteries in view of this difficult month.”
On Lech Poznan:
“We haven’t studied it yet but we will soon. It will be a demanding match, like all games in Europe. We will have to try to get a result.”
On Cremonese and beliefs that Fiorentina are already in the final:
“It hides many pitfalls. Cremonese makes it difficult for opponents and is to be feared. Games must always be played and we must face them with maximum concentration and we must try to get through the round. That is the main objective, then in the end we will draw conclusions.”
