Udinese full-back Nahuel Molina revealed he will take his teammates out for dinner if he scores 10 goals this season. The Argentine international has been in sensational form and has attracted the attention of Atletico Madrid and Juventus.
Speaking to Tuttosport, Molina shared some thoughts on his future and the obvious comparisons with former Udinese full-back, Juan Cuadrado:
The interest of Juventus and the big clubs is nice, but right now I don’t think about it and I am focused on the end of the season with Udinese. If I get to 10 goals, I’ll take the whole team out to dinner. Then I dream of the World Cup in Qatar with Lionel Messi.
At Boca there was a lot of competition in my role. I liked the idea of moving to Italy and Udinese after my first interview with the Friulian management. It was the best choice and I am still very satisfied. In the past two years everything has gone so fast that I haven’t fully realized it yet. First Udinese, then the Argentine national team, the conquest of the America’s Cup and now the many clubs that are interested in me. Fortunately there are still several games and I don’t have the time to stop and think.
Klopp, Guardiola, Simeone and Allegri? They are coaches with a impressive resume’s, I would be fortunate to work with any of them.
Am I the new Cuadrado? We are talking about a top footballer, but the Colombian seems a more attacking player to me than I am. My favorite full-back’s are Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, Reece James from Chelsea, Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
Dybala? He is a huge striker, ideal for any top club. We met in the national team and we have a good relationship. Rodrigo De Paul is a brother to me, he helped me a lot in Udine. We talk often, but I don’t know what he will do. At Atletico Madrid it has only been a year and it takes time when you change teams.
Who wins the title? Inter. And the Champions League? Real Madrid.”
