Juventus have secured qualification to the next round of the Europa League thanks to a scintillating individual performance from Angel Di Maria against 10-man Nantes.
Juventus
Tek: Wasn’t tested too often but still managed to make four saves, one of them vital. Solid. 6.5/10
Danilo: Sturdy performance at the back, even managed to make the occasional foray into the opposition half. Reliable. 6.5/10
Bremer: Dominant in the air, had the measure of Delort for the early part of the match and read the game really well. 6.5/10
Sandro: Made some truly dreadful tackles at times and it’s a miracle he wasn’t booked, but he put in a good shift and helped see out the match. 6.0/10
De Sciglio: Didn’t really offer anything going forward, another average performance from the full-back. 5.5/10
Fagioli: A real bright spark, set up the opening goal and continued to try and create when under pressure. Bore the brunt of the Nantes midfield and weathered it well. Bravo. 7.0/10
Locatelli: Did the simple things well, good distribution. Solid if not spectacular. 6.0/10
Rabiot: Had his chances to add to the goals, good runs into the Nantes box. 6.0/10
Kostic: Struck the post once and his deliveries were mixed at times. Still a decent enough performance, lacked the right pass at times. 6.5/10
Di Maria: What can you say? Spectacular opening goal, forced the Nantes error which led to the sending off, converted from the spot then scored a third to put the tie to rest. Exceptional. MOTM. 10/10
Kean: Extremely frustrating night for the youngster, his positioning was off, he made poor decisions with the ball. A game to forget. 5.0/10
