A report from La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter are set to lose both Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic and will target four new signings in the summer. Skriniar has already agreed personal terms with PSG and is set to join them in June while Brozovic is being touted as a potential counterpart in a transfer with Barcelona for Franck Kessie. La Gazzetta suggest Inter are not happy with the way in which the Croatian midfielder has handled his recovery from injury and would be happy to listen to offers for the 30-year-old.
The report also claims Inter director Beppe Marotta will seek out players available for free in the summer to help reinforce the team, with Roma’s Chris Smalling a priority for the back line. The club are expected to offer him a two-year contract, with the option for a further year and a salary of €3.5 million plus bonuses.
Inter are also looking at Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka but face a battle with Barcelona, who look close to agreeing terms for the 23-year-old Frenchman. Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu will also be available on a free and is a favourite of Inter director Piero Ausilio.
Finally, former Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is an option for the Nerazzuri but they would need to loan him initially before signing him outright next year, while Udinese’s Roberto Pereyra could be a creative addition to the centre of the pitch. ‘Tucu’ has just five months left on his deal with the Friulani and may consider one final ‘big’ move before the end of his playing career.
