With the Nerazzurri planning to revamp the midfield ahead of the upcoming campaign, Inter are to consider selling Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic next summer, despite having recently signed a contract extension with the club.
As it stands, the Beneamata are monitoring former Milan deep-lying playmaker Franck Kessie’s situation with Barcelona as he is currently unhappy with his lack of playing time and is reportedly eager to join INter next season in similar fashion of former teammate Hakan Calhanoglu.
According to FcInternews, Inter are open to selling Marcelo Brozovic due to the recent lack of fitness and consecutive injuries, as well as the current financial situation of the club given that he is in his 30s and on very high wages of 7m euros per-season.
With Inter most likely preparing to offer the La Liga outfits a loan with an option to buy form Kessie, it is unlikely that Brozovic will be integrated within the deal, but rather sold for a concrete transfer fee.
