Milan Skriniar has confirmed his move to PSG in the summer but Inter could yet sell him before the January transfer window closes. The Slovakian centre-back turned down numerous contract renewal offers from the Nerazzurri in favour of joining the Ligue 1 side, and could make the switch in the next two days.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted the player as telling Futbolsfz: “Yes, it’s true — I have signed with PSG. I’m waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement.”
Inter and PSG are reportedly in talks over whether a January move can be agreed, so as to avoid losing the defender for free in June when his contract ends.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Skriniar confessed to a teammate this week that he had already signed with PSG. The club came to know about it and at that point, the managers decided to extend the communication to the whole team before their match against Cremonese.
Inter want to part with Skriniar right away and the player wants to leave too, with the price set at €20m. PSG expected to raise their initial €10m offer to sign him in the next 48 hours, however, if he were to stay, the armband would be taken away from him for the remainder of the season.
Il Giornale claim the defender will receive a salary of €9 plus up to €2m in bonuses at PSG, with a contract until 2027. The deal will include a signing bonus of €16m and commission of €4m for his agent Roberto Sistici.
