Milan are considering Newcastle forward Allan Saint-Maximin as an alternative to Nicolò Zaniolo, who is being linked with a move to the Premier League. The Rossoneri have already presented their offer for Zaniolo: €18-19m plus bonuses, for a total of €22m, but the Giallorossi are holding out for more.
Milan are now reportedly turning their attention elsewhere, namely Newcastle’s Saint-Maximin, who would be prepared to leave in the January transfer window.
Sky Sport Italia claim that the 25-year-old has been offered to Milan, but the Premier League club want at least €30m for the Frenchman.
The Rossoneri are only expected to go after Saint-Maximin if they fail in their bid to sign Zaniolo and if the Magpies are prepared to lower their demands. TMW report that the Newcastle forward is looking for more playing time and would be willing to make the switch to Milan.
