Juventus are reportedly ready to meet with Adrien Rabiot to discuss a new contract amid interest from a number of Premier League clubs. Rabiot is into the last 5 months of his existing contract with the Bianconeri, making him a free agent in June and able to discuss a potential new deal with other clubs.
Calciomercato report that a meeting has now been set with Veronique Rabiot, the players agent and mother, to talk about the prospects of renewing his contract with the Old Lady.
The report claims that the ‘decision has been taken’ and that Juve will now try and convince the player to remain in Turin, following his excellent run of form this season.
The suggestion is that the recent change in management at Juve and the likelihood of coach Max Allegri remaining in charge next season, may be enough to convince the Frenchman to pen a new deal. The Bianconeri will reportedly offer €7m net plus bonuses to Rabiot with a ‘guarantee’ to put the player more and more at the centre of their sporting project.
For his part, the player is looking for at least €10m plus bonuses following his impressive season at Juve, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona all following the player with interest.
