Juventus continue to monitor Torino’s Wilfried Stephane Singo

Start

Torino wing-back Wilfried Stephane Singo is still a reported target for Juventus. Juve were suggested to be interested in Singo, 22, last month, although rumours did not evolve into anything concrete.

Torino are reluctant to lose another key player to their cross-city rivals having sold Gleison Bremer in the summer. Singo has featured 12 times in the Serie A so far this season and has contributed three assists.

Nicolò Schira reported today that Juve, however, are continuing to monitor Singo’s situation. Massimiliano Allegri is said to have approved of any approach made for Singo.

Whether this “monitoring” is with an eye for the summer or for a January move was unconfirmed. Juan Cuadrado is set to leave Turin upon his impending contract expiration in June, leaving Danilo and Mattia de Sciglio as Allegri’s options at right wing-back.

Singo’s current deal at Torino, meanwhile, has 18 months left, meaning if the Ivory Coast international were to push for a move then Torino would more than likely have to acquiesce into selling.

Moreover, Tuttosport reported yesterday that Fiorentina are beginning to circle the wing-back. With multiple suitors eyeing a move for Singo, who is unlikely to extend his contract, Torino may be forced into entering negotiations during this window.
