Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are being linked with a move for Spezia’s in-demand centre-back, Jakub Kiwior. The Polish international recently featured for his country at the World Cup and his impressive spells for the Aquilotti has reportedly peaked the interest of Serie A sides Milan and Juventus who see him as a long-term option for their back line.
French journalist Santi Aouna reports that Leipzig are preparing for the sale of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol, who looks certain to leave the club in the coming months. Gvardiol has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Manchester City reportedly vying for his services, and with his sale imminent, the German side are following Kiwior as they view him as the perfect replacement.
The 22-year-old joined Spezia in 2021 and has already become a key first-team player, attracting attention from across Europe, which has seen his value rise to a reported €25m on the transfer market.
Fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund are also keeping a close eye on the young defender with Chelsea also reportedly having made enquiries about his availability.
