Torino are reportedly in talks with coach Ivan Juric to extend his contract amidst interest from Premier League side Nottingham Forest. The tactician had a very public falling out with club director Davide Vagnati earlier in the year, which led to doubts over his immediate future in Turin. The pair have since put their differences behind them with Torino hitting a purple patch just before the break, winning 4 of their last 6 matches, losing just once.
Tuttosport now report that Torino have begun talks to extend the Croatian tactician’s deal beyond 2024, when his existing contract comes to an end.
Club President Urbano Cairo and Vagnati are reportedly keen to tie to the coach down to a longer term deal.
Juric was also linked with Nottingham Forest just a few weeks ago by the same newspaper, but the coach was quick to distance himself, saying: “We are here and working for what is best for Toro. Everything else is just chatter and does not count.”
