Milan are once again being linked with a move for Chelsea outcast Hakim Ziyech and could make a move to sign him in January. The Moroccan international came very close to making the switch to the Italian champions during the summer transfer window, but a move failed to materialise as the clubs struggled to reach an agreement.
Sportmediaset report that Ziyech is a name that the Rossoneri are still considering, should they find a ‘tempting’ market opportunity in January. For Ziyech, nothing has changed in London as he is still struggling to find a place in the Chelsea starting XI under coach Graham Potter.
Milan are expected to spend the December break focusing on renewals for Ismael Bennacer and Rafael Leao, but are also looking to find a quality option on the right flank while Ziyech is reportedly looking to leave Chelsea in search of more playing time.
Mediaset suggest that the Rossoneri’s progress to the last 16 of the Champions League could see them make a stronger effort to sign Ziyech than in the summer, given their stronger financial position.
