Both Milan and Juventus are being linked with Argentine midfielder Rodrigo de Paul after he failed to settle in Madrid. The 28-year-old made a name for himself in Serie A, spending five seasons with Udinese before making a high-profile move to Atletico Madrid in 2021.
Reports from Spanish paper Marca suggest that the midfielder has failed to settle into coach Diego Simeone’s system since his arrival and has further courted controversy when a photo surfaced of him at a music event in Miami, despite having been given leave for family reasons.
Marca suggest De Paul is slipping out of Simeone’s plans and could make a return to Serie A as early as January when the club look to sell him at a market value of around €35m.
The Bianconeri were closely linked with De Paul before his move to Spain, while Milan are also keeping a close eye on the situation.
