Thomas Muller Will Not Be Moving To Serie A Club As Bayern Star Is ‘Not Interested’

Start

That latest Thomas Muller transfer news has revealed that the Bayern Munich star will not be joining Fiorentina this summer.

Muller is set to leave the Allianz Arena in June after Bayern decided not to renew his contract. The 35-year-old has spent his entire club career in Bavaria and has won 32 major trophies.

In 2014, Muller also won the FIFA World Cup with Germany and is widely regarded as one of their greatest ever players. The same applies to Bayern, too.

With that in mind, interest in Muller will be plentiful in the coming months. He’ll certainly entertain plenty of offers from all over the world.

However, a switch to La Viola won’t materlize. We reported last week how Raffaele Palladino’s side offered Muller a one-year deal but he won’t be moving to the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

Thomas Muller Transfer News Reveals Bayern Star Won’t Be Signing For Fiorentina

Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk confirmed on his official X account (formerly Twitter) that contact had been made between the two parties.

However, Thomas Muller has no interest in moving to Fiorentina. If La Viola had convinced Muller to put pen to paper, it would have been one of the biggest signings in the club’s history.

It appears that a move to the MLS is likely as Bayern Munich has a commercial partnership with Los Angeles FC. David Beckham’s Inter Miami is another possibility. They of course, have Lionel Messi in their ranks.

The Saudi Pro League has attracted a plethora of stars in recent years owing to the riches that are on offer. Muller is one of the highest earners at Bayern and won’t want a decrease in salary.

In fact, a potential contract in Saudi Arabia could be two or three times higher than what he currently earns. If the US or Saudi doesn’t suit Muller, there will still be plenty of keen potential suitors in Europe.

Only time will tell where Muller ends up but one thing’s for certain. He won’t be playing for La Viola in 2025-26.
