A total of five players risk Inter Milan suspensions ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League second leg quarter-final clash against Bayern Munich.
The Nerazzuri lead 2-1 after goals from Lautaro Martinez and Davide Frattesi helped down the Bundesliga giants at the Allianz Arena last Tuesday.
Simone Inzaghi’s side are enjoying a stellar campaign in Europe’s elite club competition this season. As it stands, Inter have conceded just three goals.
That in itself is truly amazing considering the Serie A leaders have faced the likes of Arsenal and Man City. More notably, just one goal was shipped in the new-look league format.
As solid as Inter have been defensively, their lack of discipline could prove their downfall. If they avoid defeat at the San Siro, a last-four clash with Barcelona is likely.
The LaLiga giants thrashed Dortmund 4-0 last week. Robert Lewandowski (2), Raphinha and Lamine Yamal scoring the all-important goals.

Inter Milan Suspensions – What Players Are At Risk Vs Bayern Munich?
Lautaro Martinez is the biggest Inter Milan suspension risk going into Wednesday’s clash with Bayern Munich. The Nerazzuri star scored the opener in Germany before picking up a yellow card.
The fiery Argentine forward would be a huge miss in the semi-final first leg. Assuming Inter get the job done at the San Siro against Bayern.
Slavko Vincic is the referee for the second leg quarter-final clash and he has history with Inter this season. Vinic had the whistle for the match against Bayer Leverkusen in the group stages which saw three Nerazzuri players booked.
Defenders Alessandro Bastoni and Benjamin Pavard will also need to be wary of the wrath of Vinic. So to will Nicolo Barella, who was booked in the 1-0 defeat to Leverkusen back in October.
The last player walking the tightrope is Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He is expected to start the game and will have to be extra cautious against Bayern.
Denzel Dumfries is also one booking away from missing the potential semi-final first leg but as he is ruled out injured, He won’t be in any danger of a suspension.
