Renato Veiga, the Chelsea loanee currently plying his trade at Juventus, recently shared his thoughts with Sky Sport ahead of the crucial match against Inter Milan. The Portuguese midfielder also looked forward to the upcoming Champions League playoff second leg against PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands.
Veiga began by praising the welcoming atmosphere at his new club: “Everything is still new, I haven’t been here long, but the team has welcomed me very well. We have an excellent group, very solid, with the right atmosphere, and this is very important.”
The young talent expressed his admiration for Juventus’ rich history, stating, “Everyone knows Juventus for its history, for the great players who have played here, including Portuguese ones. I already knew many things before coming here, I followed the team thanks to the important players who are here.”
Looking ahead to the high-stakes clash with Inter Milan, Veiga emphasized the importance of the fixture: “The match against Inter is fundamental, we must win because we are Juventus. We always play to win.” He then outlined his personal ambitions at the club, saying, “My goal is to bring Juventus to win always. I’m someone who thinks game by game and focuses on the present.”
