Kolo Muani Embraces Juventus Challenge: “Happy to Be Here, Future Doesn’t Worry Me”

Start

Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus’ standout January signing, has hit the ground running in Turin with an impressive tally of five goals in his first four matches. The French striker, who joined on a straight loan deal, recently shared his thoughts on his early experiences with the Bianconeri in an interview with Sky Sport.

“Everything is going well, I’m extremely happy to be here,” Kolo Muani enthused. “I’ve been welcomed very warmly. I’ve spoken with the coach and the captains, and I get along well with all my new teammates.” The forward noted the difference in training intensity compared to his previous experiences in France, adding, “We work very hard here, and it’s a change from France. The football is more tactical and more demanding.”

Reflecting on his debut, Kolo Muani expressed satisfaction with his performance and gratitude towards his teammates. “I had an excellent debut. My teammates helped me a lot, giving me the right balls, and I managed to score. I’m happy here, and I hope this moment continues.”

The striker also shared an amusing anecdote about his former PSG teammate, Gianluigi Donnarumma. “When rumors about Juventus started circulating, he began teasing me. He would sing the Juventus anthem to me, but he also assured me that I would fit in well here.”

Looking ahead to the upcoming clash against Inter Milan, Kolo Muani recognizes the magnitude of the fixture. “It’s a big challenge, a derby. We need to prepare ourselves as best we can, and we’re doing that. It will be the best opportunity to showcase our qualities, not just to our fans but to everyone watching the match.”

When asked about his future beyond the loan spell, Kolo Muani remained focused on the present. “Giuntoli’s words are pleasing; it means I’ve made a good impression. The future doesn’t worry me; I’m just thinking about enjoying the moment.”

While there is no predetermined purchase option in the loan agreement, reports suggest that Juventus’ sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is keen on retaining Kolo Muani’s services. The club may look to negotiate a loan with an obligation to buy in 2026 for a total of around €50 million.
