Juventus Aims to Keep Kolo Muani: Giuntoli’s Summer Plan

Start

Randal Kolo Muani has made an impressive start to his Juventus career, scoring 5 goals in 3 league matches, although he didn’t find the net in his European debut for the Bianconeri. Nevertheless, his goal-per-game average remains impressive. Paris Saint-Germain paid €95 million to Eintracht Frankfurt for Kolo Muani, a figure currently out of Juventus’ reach. However, Calciomercato report that following the separation endorsed by Luis Enrique, this price could decrease enough to allow for a long-term maneuver.

Kolo Muani arrived in Turin on loan, and a great rapport has developed with Juventus. There’s mutual satisfaction and a desire to continue this relationship beyond the temporary transfer’s expiration. Is it possible? Of course, it is. In the transfer market, anything is possible, provided all parties agree on figures and methods. Let’s see how, but not before reporting the confirmation from Cristiano Giuntoli of the club’s intention to pursue this path.

“The relationship with PSG is excellent. We did a work of great willingness given the concern that Milik might not return. There’s a willingness to sit down again at the end of the year to see if we can continue with Randal,” Giuntoli stated.

The current loan will expire, and there’s no way to “extend” it as is. However, a new loan can be negotiated, provided PSG remains within the numerical limits imposed by FIFA, the same ones that delayed Kolo Muani’s registration a few weeks ago. At that point, with a whole season ahead, it could even be a loan with an obligation to buy, pushing the permanent transfer to the summer of 2026 when the French club might settle for around €50 million. This money would come (with some left over) from the imminent sale of Vlahovic, who spent 90 minutes on the bench against Como and only played 10 minutes against PSV.

However, all of this hinges on a crucial objective yet to be achieved: qualification for the next Champions League, with all the revenue it brings. Without it, the chances of seeing Kolo Muani in black and white beyond this summer would drastically reduce.
