Vasilije Adzic, Juventus’ promising Montenegrin talent, made a significant impact in his second appearance for Juventus Next Gen, showcasing skills that are hard to ignore. The 18-year-old midfielder played a crucial role in the team’s 11th consecutive positive result in Serie C Group C, helping them move within two points of the playoff zone under coach Massimiliano Brambilla’s guidance.
Adzic’s performance against former league leaders Benevento was particularly noteworthy. He provided a magnificent backheel assist and scored a pinpoint free kick that found the top corner, marking his first official statistics in Juventus colors. These moments of brilliance helped secure a victory that further pushed Benevento into crisis.
After overcoming persistent physical issues that characterized the first half of his season, the 2006-born talent is eager to make the most of the new year. His goal is to catch the eye of first-team manager Thiago Motta, who has already shown faith in the young player.

Motta included Adzic in the first team’s preseason training and has given him playing time in various official competitions. Adzic made his Serie A debut on October 19, 2024, coming on as a substitute for Thuram against Lazio for 18 minutes. Just three days later, he appeared in the Champions League against Stuttgart, playing 22 minutes in an unfortunate match for Juventus.
The young Montenegrin also featured in the final moments of the Coppa Italia match against Cagliari on December 17 and made brief appearances in Serie A games against Monza (December 22) and Milan (January 18).
With his recent impressive showing for Juventus Next Gen, Adzic is proving to be an additional resource for Thiago Motta’s squad. His ability to make an impact in limited minutes suggests that he could soon be pushing for a more prominent role in the first team.
