Venezia have officially announced the signing of Daniel Fila from Slavia Prague, securing the services of the promising Czech forward on a long-term contract until June 30, 2029. The 23-year-old’s arrival marks a significant addition to Venezia’s attacking options as they look to bolster their squad for the remainder of the Serie A season.
Fila, born in 2002, began his professional journey with FC Zbrojovka Brno before making a name for himself at Mlada Boleslav in the 2021/2022 season. His impressive performances, which included 5 goals and 2 assists in 23 appearances, caught the eye of Czech giants Slavia Prague.
At Slavia, Fila continued to develop, featuring for both the first team and the B team. However, it was during his two-year loan spell at Teplice where he truly flourished, netting 16 goals and providing 6 assists in 47 appearances. This productive period has undoubtedly played a crucial role in Venezia’s decision to bring him to Italy.
The young striker also brings international experience to the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo, having represented the Czech Republic’s youth national teams on 19 occasions and scoring 7 goals in the process.
