AC Milan have officially secured the signing of Warren Bondo from AC Monza in a permanent transfer that marks a significant moment in the final hours of the January 2025 transfer window. The 22-year-old midfielder arrives as a direct replacement for Ismael Bennacer, who is set to depart for Marseille.
Bondo’s journey to Milan has been years in the making, with the club having tracked his progress since 2021. After joining Monza in the summer of 2022, he quickly established himself as a promising talent in Serie A. During his time with the Brianza club, Bondo made 52 appearances and scored one goal, demonstrating his potential and catching the eye of top clubs.
The transfer is reported to be worth €10 million, with an additional €2 million in potential bonuses. Bondo has already arrived at Casa Milan to complete his medical and sign a long-term contract, becoming Milan’s third signing of the January window.
As part of the complex negotiations, Milan have also arranged for Kevin Zeroli to move to Monza on loan, completing a mutually beneficial transfer between the two clubs.
Bondo’s arrival comes at a crucial moment for Milan, providing immediate midfield reinforcement and addressing the potential departure of Bennacer. The young midfielder is expected to bring energy, technical skill, and depth to Sergio Conceicao’s squad as they compete on multiple fronts this season.
