Fiorentina have officially welcomed Pablo Marí to the Viola Park, marking their third significant acquisition of the winter transfer window. The Spanish defender, who previously played for Monza, has arrived in Florence to complete his medical examinations and finalize his move to the club.
Marí’s transfer comes on the heels of Nicolas Valentini and Michael Folorunsho’s arrivals, demonstrating Fiorentina’s commitment to strengthening their squad. The former Arsenal player’s move to Fiorentina is a permanent one, with the club reportedly paying Monza close to one million euros for his services, despite Marí’s contract with Monza being set to expire in June.
The terms of Marí’s new contract with Fiorentina are expected to run until June 2026, with an option to extend until 2027. The official signing is scheduled to take place immediately following the completion of his medical tests.
Upon his arrival at the Viola Park, Marí was greeted by familiar faces, including Raffaele Palladino, the coach he worked under during his time at Monza. Fiorentina has already shared photographs of Marí at the training facility, capturing moments of his introduction to his new teammates and the coaching staff.
