Meanwhile, Torino’s persistence in pursuing Cesare Casadei has paid off. The club never gave up on their target and managed to reach a verbal agreement with Chelsea overnight. The Italian midfielder has chosen Torino after the club convinced him of the central role he would play in their project. The final details of the transfer are now being ironed out, with Chelsea expected to give the green light soon.
Casadei’s decision to join Torino came after intense negotiations between Monday night and Tuesday morning. The club’s management successfully conveyed to the young Italian the importance he would have in their future plans, swaying him to choose the Granata over other interested parties.
