PSG are still confident of agreeing a deal with Inter for Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar before the transfer window closes. The French side have been bullish in recent days with both the club president and coach stating that there was still the prospect of a transfer taking place before deadline day.
French paper L’Equipe now write that PSG are once again in talks with the Nerazzurri and the ‘exchanges between the two sides have been constructive.’
According to the report, Skriniar has always been a priority for the Parisians and in the last few hours, ‘optimism has returned to the PSG camp’ regarding his transfer.
L’Equipe suggest that figures on the deal are yet to filter out, however Inter management are no longer as ‘closed’ to the idea of selling Skriniar. PSG have signed Fabian Ruiz and are expected to loan both Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes before completing a move for Skriniar.
