Fiorentina have stepped up their pursuit of Parma’s Dennis Man following Luiz Henrique’s move to Zenit St. Petersburg. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian club has now made Man their top priority in the January transfer window.

After Zenit officially announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Luiz Henrique, Fiorentina swiftly shifted their focus to the Romanian winger. The club had been monitoring Man’s situation for some time, as previously reported.

Fiorentina are now in pole position to secure Man’s services. Following discussions with Parma on Monday, January 20, the Viola have submitted an official bid for the player.

The Florence-based club aim to strengthen their squad under manager Raffaele Palladino. Man, born in 1998, has been impressive this season, scoring 4 goals and providing 4 assists in 21 appearances for Parma.

With Luiz Henrique’s €35 million transfer to Zenit now complete, Fiorentina is eager to reach an agreement with Parma quickly. The club hopes to add Man to their roster alongside recent acquisition Folorunsho.

Fiorentina’s initial offer is reported to be around €8-9 million, while Parma is holding out for €15 million.
