Juventus Director Giuntoli: “We’ll Evaluate Cambiaso Offers, but No Negotiations Yet”

Juventus Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli addressed the media before the crucial Champions League race match against AC Milan. He touched on various topics, including transfer rumors and the team’s current standing.

When asked about potential discussions with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Giuntoli kept it brief: “We spoke and greeted each other, no names were mentioned.”

Regarding Juventus’ position in the league table, Giuntoli expressed a desire for improvement: “Honestly, no, we want to do more. Victory is the most important thing, not the only thing, but the most important. Would we trade three points for a poor performance? Today I say yes, but in a moment of growth with such a young team, we must also evaluate the journey, not just the results.”

Giuntoli provided an update on the Kolo Muani situation, stating: “They had a bureaucratic issue, but it will be resolved within this week. We are calm.”

When questioned about Vlahovic’s status and whether Muani would have started today, Giuntoli deferred to the manager’s decision: “I don’t know if Muani would have played as a starter today. I know Vlahovic has only had one training session. The manager wouldn’t have started him regardless, and it’s the manager who decides.”

Addressing rumors about Cambiaso’s potential move to Manchester City, Giuntoli was clear: “Honestly, there are no negotiations at this time. Right now, we want to focus on incoming transfers to address the injuries we’ve had. We don’t want to think about outgoing transfers, but incoming ones. If an offer arrives, we’ll consider it.”
