Parma Step Up Pursuit of Martin Erlic from Bologna

Start

Parma are ramping up their efforts to secure the services of Martin Erlic, the Croatian defender currently with Bologna. The newly promoted side are keen to bolster their defensive lineup and see Erlic as a valuable addition.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that negotiations between Parma and Bologna are reportedly progressing well, with the transfer package for Erlic estimated to be around €7 million, including potential bonuses. As discussions continue, both clubs are working to finalize the details of the deal.

The situation is expected to evolve quickly, especially with Bologna’s upcoming match on January 15.

Erlic has found limited playing time at Bologna this season, making only five appearances due to a previous muscle injury. His lack of game time has opened the door for potential moves, and Parma is not alone in its interest; Fiorentina is also reportedly considering a bid for the defender.

The 25-year-old has a solid track record in Serie A, having accumulated over 100 appearances in Italy’s top flight, primarily with Spezia.
