As the highly anticipated Turin derby approaches, both Juventus and Torino are grappling with injury woes that could significantly impact their lineups.
The Bianconeri will be without key attackers Dusan Vlahovic and Francisco Conceicao. Both players have been training separately from the main squad due to muscular and thigh issues respectively.
Juventus’ midfield will already be missing Manuel Locatelli, who is serving a suspension. The team’s depth is further tested by the continued absence of long-term injured players Arkadiusz Milik, Bremer, and Juan Cabal. Adding to their concerns, there are rumors suggesting Danilo may depart the club during the mid-season transfer window.
On the other side, Torino remains optimistic about the potential return of defender Saul Coco and influential midfielder Samuele Ricci. Both players sustained injuries in their recent match against Parma, but the club is hopeful they can recover in time for the derby.
However, Torino will definitely be without the services of Perr Schuurs and Duvan Zapata for an extended period. Zapata’s absence, in particular, opens up competition for the forward positions, with Che Adams, Yann Karamoh, and Antonio Sanabria vying for a starting role despite their recent goal-scoring struggles.
