AC Milan have reached a preliminary agreement with RB Leipzig for the transfer of Noah Okafor.
Gianluca Di Marzio writes that after positive discussions on January 9, it has been confirmed that the two clubs have settled on a loan deal that includes an option to buy. Okafor, who has spent a year and a half with Milan, will be leaving to join another club within the Red Bull organization, having previously played for RB Salzburg before his move to Milan.
The negotiations were fruitful, with Milan’s management meeting with their Leipzig counterparts to finalize the details of the transfer. The agreement stipulates that Okafor will be loaned out with a right of redemption, allowing Leipzig to secure his services permanently after assessing his performance during the loan period. He is expected to travel to Germany shortly to complete the move.
