Roma have officially confirmed the signing of Andrea Belotti on a one-year contract with the option for a two-year extension. The former Torino striker was available for free this summer having failed to agree a new deal with the Granata.
The Giallorossi have now officially confirmed Belotti’s arrival via a statement on the clubs official website:
The club is delighted to announce the signing of striker Andrea Belotti.
Belotti, 28, has signed an initial one-year contract that runs until 30 June 2023.
As part of the overall agreement there is also the option for an additional two-year extension, based on certain performance-related criteria.
The Italy international joins the club after seven seasons at Torino, where he scored 100 Serie A goals.
“Roma’s progress and ambition in recent times has been clear for all to see, and both elements have had a big influence on me,” Belotti said.
“At this point in my career I want to continue to improve, day after day, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to do so representing this club.
“I now cannot wait to hear the club anthem at the stadium, in front of all our fans.”
