Milan coach Paulo Fonseca expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance despite their recent victory in the Champions League against Crvena Zvezda. In an interview with Sky Sport, Fonseca stated, “I am a person who is not satisfied only with the result. I am pleased with the outcome; the most important thing is that we won and are in a good position. However, I am tired of fighting against these issues. I am not satisfied with the performance of the team.”

When asked about the specific issues he was referring to, Fonseca replied, “I need to talk to the team. I don’t want to say too much; I want to analyze it, but these things are clear to me. It’s not a tactical or technical issue. We arrive at this decisive match feeling like we didn’t do everything to win, and that’s the worst feeling we can have.”

Fonseca acknowledged the inconsistency of his squad, saying, “The problem is that our team is a roller coaster. Today we’re good; tomorrow, I don’t know. It always feels like a coin toss. It’s impressive.”

He emphasized the need for a more aggressive mindset, stating, “This is the problem. I know I work every day to do well. I don’t know if everyone in our team can say the same. We have an obligation to give everything to win, and we didn’t do that. I need to talk with the team about what happened on the field. They must understand that this cannot happen.”
