Ajax centre-back Perr Schuurs has left Amsterdam this morning ahead of his transfer to Torino this summer. The Granata are in need of a new defender following their high-profile sale of Gleison Bremer to Juventus for €40m earlier in the transfer window.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Torino had been in a three-way bidding war with Fiorentina and Bologna to secure the signing of Schuurs but the Granata have won out.
The 22-year-old was pictured leaving Amsterdam this morning, bound for Turin, ahead of a €9.5m deal that could include up to €3.5m in add-ons.
Ajax are expected to earn up to 15% of any potential resale value for the young Dutchman who spent the last three seasons in their first team, making 92 appearances.
