Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi addressed recent concerns regarding refereeing decisions following a challenging period for the club. Speaking to the media, Ghisolfi emphasized the importance of accountability, while also calling for respect and fairness in officiating.
Reflecting on a difficult moment for the team, particularly regarding player Edoardo Bove, Ghisolfi stated, “Yesterday was a terrible moment for everyone. It’s not the time to go into medical details, but the most important thing is that Edo is doing well. It was something incredible. Edo is a person of great kindness; people know him as a player, but not as a man. He deserves to be happy and on the pitch. We send our support to him, his family, and his agent. We also thank Fiorentina for their understanding.”
Addressing the issue of refereeing errors, Ghisolfi remarked, “We are in difficulty, but we are not looking for excuses. Our struggles do not justify accepting being pushed around. The message is clear: we demand respect and fairness. Seven errors are a fact, and that is too many.”
