Manchester United to make Milinkovic-Savic bid

Premier League club Manchester United have renewed their interest in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and are expected to make an offer this summer. The Serbian midfielder has reportedly told Lazio management that he wishes to leave this summer and had been previously linked with United and a host of Europe’s elite clubs.

The Telegraph report that United are pushing ahead with their bid to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot but would like to bolster their midfield after their disappointing 2-1 loss to Brighton on the opening day of the season.

According to the Telegraph, the interest from United is very real as they are starting to identify targets as an alternative to Frenkie De Jong, who now looks set to remain at Barcelona.

Milinkovic-Savic has spent seven seasons at Lazio, scoring 58 goals in 294 appearances for the club,
