Dybala eyes Napoli clash as Roma resumes training, Hummels sidelined with flu

Start

Roma have returned to training at their Trigoria sports center after a two-day break granted by manager Claudio Ranieri. The team is gearing up for their upcoming Serie A fixture against Napoli, scheduled for the 13th round of the league.

Corriere dello Sport report how Argentine forward Paulo Dybala trained separately from the main group but is expected to rejoin his teammates tomorrow. The plan is for Dybala to gradually increase his workload with the aim of being fit to start at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

However, Mats Hummels was notably absent from the training session due to a bout of flu. The German defender’s condition will be monitored closely in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Mario Hermoso is projected to return to full training later this week. The Spanish center-back is targeting a comeback in time for Roma’s Europa League clash against Tottenham, set for Thursday, November 28th.
