Di Gregorio: “We are growing as a group”

Start

Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio recently shared his thoughts on the team’s progress and aspirations during a visit to the Punto Luce Vallette in Turin. Alongside teammates Pierre Kalulu, Nicolo Fagioli, Carlo Pinsoglio, Vasilije Adzic, and Nico Gonzalez, Di Gregorio emphasized the importance of believing in dreams while reflecting on his own journey.

“We were all children with dreams, and it was wonderful to surprise these kids,” Di Gregorio said. “I simply told them to believe in their dreams and work towards achieving them.”

Looking ahead to Juventus’ upcoming match against AC Milan at San Siro, Di Gregorio expressed optimism about the team’s trajectory. “This match comes at a good time for us. The team is improving day by day in terms of spirit and attitude, and we are happy with our progress. We have a busy week ahead, but we focus on one game at a time. Right now, we are concentrating on Milan before thinking about the next matches.”

Reflecting on his early months at Juventus, Di Gregorio shared his positive experiences. “My first months at Juventus have been wonderful, just as I expected. The relationship with Mattia Perin is fantastic; we train together to keep improving.”

When discussing his personal ambitions, he stated, “I am working hard to secure a stable place in the national team. That is my goal because representing my country would be a great honor.” He added that the current dream for the team is to grow every day. “It doesn’t make sense to look too far ahead into the future. We’re not talking about the Scudetto; that’s a journey that needs to be approached without taking too many steps at once.”

Di Gregorio acknowledged the high level of competition in Serie A, mentioning teams like Napoli and Atalanta as formidable opponents. “The level of Serie A is extremely high,” he noted. “It’s a very competitive league.”
