Milan are once again being linked with a move for Bordeaux midfielder Jean Onana following the injury to Sandro Tonali. The 22-year-old limped off during Milan’s friendly match against Vicenza with a suspected groin or adductor strain.
Milan play Udinese in just under a week and Tonali is now a big doubt to feature in the Serie A league opener, with the Rossoneri still active in the transfer market.
Tonali is expected to be out for at least a month according to the latest reports from this mornings Italian press.
Nicolo Schira reports that the Rossoneri are really interested in Onana and have monitored him various times over the last season. He also reports that talks have already begun with the players agents over a transfer this summer.
The 22-year-old is expected to leave Bordeaux this summer following their relegation to Ligue 2.
