Juventus are expected to meet with the agents of Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori later today, but they face strong competition from Napoli. The two sides are expected to go head-to-head in an effort to sign the young Italy international this summer, with the Partenopei possibly holding the edge.
Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Raspadori has asked Sassuolo management to leave the club this summer as he wishes to play the Champions League to continue his growth.
The player has reportedly asked Neroverdi coach Alessio Dionisi for a ‘green light’ to leave, however the last word belongs to the managing director Giovanni Carnevali.
The club are aiming for at least €40m to let him go and Napoli have already made a bid of €30m while agreeing personal terms with the player.
Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are set to meet with the players representatives today in an attempt to beat Napoli to the player.
