Udinese full-back Nahuel Molina is poised for a move to La Liga side Atletico Madrid in the coming week. The Argentine wasn’t even called up for the clubs friendly against Bayer Leverkusen today amid reports he is close to making the switch to Spain.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Atleti and Udinese are in the process of preparing documents to complete the move which could take place imminently.
There’s no word yet on the expected figures for the deal, but Atelti moved quickest to secure the 24-year-old ahead of competition from Juventus.
Molina scored eight goals in 37 appearances for the Friulani last season, becoming a key part of the squad along with Destiny Udogie.
