Atalanta pulled off a stunning 3-0 victory against Serie A leaders Napoli, handing Antonio Conte’s side only their second defeat of the season. The tactical surprises deployed by Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini proved to be a masterstroke, catching the home team off guard.
Ademola Lookman was the star of the show, scoring an early brace that set the tone for the match. His first goal came from a tight angle volley after Charles De Ketelaere’s clever flick. Lookman doubled the lead with a spectacular right-footed strike from outside the box, leaving Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret with no chance.
