Totti serious about potential Serie A return: “I have two offers”

Francesco Totti, the legendary former captain of AS Roma, has doubled down on his recent comments about a potential return to professional football. Speaking from Miami, where he is participating in the EA World Legends Padel Tour, Totti made it clear that his earlier statements were not made in jest.

“If you’ll see me first on the field for the World Legends Padel Tour finals or first on the field in Serie A? That’s a difficult question,” Totti said. “Let’s say I have time to do the Padel finals, which are at the end of November in Dubai. At least two months of training are needed, that’s the timeframe.”

When pressed about whether his previous comments were a joke, Totti responded seriously, “No, it’s not a joke. I’ve taken it quite seriously, so we’ll see. There are one or two teams. We’ll see what my head tells me, but especially what my body says. We’ll see how it reacts. My head already knows the answer. Who knows what next year will bring us.”

The 48-year-old former World Cup winner hinted at concrete interest from top-flight clubs. “There have been Serie A teams that have called me,” Totti revealed. “I admit they’ve made me think a bit, made me a bit crazy. It would be difficult, but in life, never say never. There are players who have played many years after the end of their career.”

Totti’s comments have sparked speculation about which clubs might be interested in his services. Recent rumors have linked him with Como, though Totti’s statements suggest there could be multiple options on the table.
